Mashed Sweet Potatoes & Paleo Gravy

Plus our Paleo Gravy is made with nutrient-packed Kettle & Fire Chicken Cooking Broth and healthy fat-filled coconut milk so you drown your dish in an amino acid-filled super sauce instead of regret.
Mashed Sweet Potatoes & Paleo Gravy
Ingredients
For the mashed sweet potatoes
- 2 lbs sweet potatoes white
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup Kettle & Fire Chicken Cooking Broth
- 1 tbsp ghee (sub coconut oil)
For the gravy
- 2 1/2 tbsp ghee (sub coconut oil)
- 3 1/2 tbsp arrowroot starch
- 2 1/4 cups Kettle & Fire Chicken Cooking Broth (can sub beef cooking broth)
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp rosemary (plus add for topping)
Instructions

To make the mashed sweet potatoes, peel and cube the potatoes. Add to a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil for 20-25 minutes or until tender. Strain the water and transfer to a bowl. Add the remainder of the ingredients and use a potato masher to mash. Set aside.

To make the gravy, melt the ghee over medium heat. Whisk in the arrowroot and cook for 2 minutes. Slowly pour in the chicken cooking broth, constantly whisking. Pour in the remainder of the ingredients and whisk to combine. Allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes or until thick.

Serve the mashed sweet potatoes topped with gravy and additional herbs to serve.
