Mixed Berry Bone Broth Smoothie

You’ve probably been hearing about bone broth and its many benefits. Chicken and beef bone broth contain amino acids, protein, collagen, and other nutrients that support gut, joint, and skin health.

This bone broth smoothie recipe combines the broth with the strong flavors of fruit, so you’ll barely notice it’s there. To get a great bone broth smoothie texture and coldness, we suggest you make bone broth ice cubes the night before making your smoothie. Simply pour Kettle and Fire chicken bone broth into an ice cube tray and freeze it.

Or if you forgot to plan ahead, simply use 1/2 cup cold bone broth, 3 – 4 ice cubes made from water, and frozen berries instead of fresh ones.

For this recipe, we chose a banana with mixed berries, but you can easily add whichever types of fruit you prefer or have in your home. We also add some flax seeds for added fiber.
