Bone Broth Hummus

If you’re looking for a satisfying snack to make in a matter of minutes, this bone broth hummus recipe will make sure you’re never left “hangry” again.

With hints of garlic and lemon, this hummus recipe is full of Mediterranean flavor, delivering keto-friendly fats, calcium, and vitamin C in a satisfying snack. The addition of bone broth also adds type II collagen, a protein found in bones and connective tissue, which supports gut, skin, and joint health.

Serve this bone broth hummus any way you’d like: a dip for your veggies, as a topping on soups and salads, or spread it on wraps, sandwiches, and crackers.

Note: if you’re prone to digestive issues, such as gas or bloating, we recommend soaking your garbanzo beans in filtered water with a splash of apple cider vinegar overnight, or for 8-10 hours. This will help to break down the phytic acid, a protective coating found on the outside of beans, grains, and lentils, which can be difficult to digest.

Raw garlic can also aggravate or worsen digestive symptoms for some people. If you’re one of them, feel free to leave out the garlic. You could also try roasting it before you add it to the recipe.
